I have been watching the Biggest Loser like a fanatic over the last several months and I am so elated to see Ali as the first female winner. 16 weeks and 112 lbs lost. Scary yet amazing. We all know that this is totally unrealistic for every other female. I mean, you have to be able to work out every day, 3 times per day for hours, and have access to the right foods at any given time. Not to mention having your personal trainer with you throughout the day and be under medical supervision. So, for the average woman this is an impossible goal, but what is so motivating to me is that if Ali could do this in 16 weeks, imagine what we can do in 6 months or a year. We really could have mind-blowing results. And that’s the take-away. We could have the same amazing results with just working out for 30-45 minutes, three times per week and eating a pretty clean diet. Who cares if it takes us a year or more. I’m 42. What’s the problem with waiting one more year for a body like Ali’s?
