Being Fit and Fabulous Forever is about more than just having a flat belly, although having a flat belly is quite nice. But, it’s also about honoring, not abusing, God’s gift of life — your life and the life that you birthed. It’s about being “Fit” in all areas of your life. Physically Fit, Nutritionally Fit, Emotionally Fit, Spiritually Fit and Financially Fit.
As moms, we are responsible for soooooooo much. We are the managers of our lives as well as our children’s lives. When you think about it, to effectively do all the things that we have to do, we have to pay attention to our quality of life, and quality of life involves physical and mental strength. Let me be the first to say that you possess all the ability you need to accomplish what you need to in a day, and get fit at the same time.
The biggest challenge to strengthening ourselves physically, and in all the other areas of our lives, comes down to our beliefs. What do you believe that you are capable of? What do you believe that you can accomplish? Your beliefs can either help you to soar or can limit your potential. As a mom, the way you see yourself can have a major impact on how others see you, especially your kids. When you take time to care for yourself and open yourself up to continual learning, everyone wins. Not taking time for yourself because you are afraid it will take away time for your family is definitely not the way to go. The actual truth is that when you take the time to care for yourself and renew, you have more to give and with a better attitude.
Being Fit and Fabulous Forever is within every mom’s reach. It’s a state of existence where you continue to strengthen yourself at every stage or life. It’s being in a place of willingness to seek out resources and tools to support your dreams. Your dreams of being healthy. Your dreams of greater spiritual maturity. Your dreams of being able to provide for your family in various ways. I know you have what it takes. The question is: Do you believe it?
