When you commit to your ‘body after baby’ it can be difficult to stay on course because life gets in the way. Sometimes it’s challenging choosing between all your very important priorities. You’ve got your responsibilities as a wife, as a mother, and in my case, as a business owner, and your biggest responsibility which is to yourself. A good friend of my husband told him that juggling all the balls of life are difficult but you need to know which ones are glass and which ones are rubber. You’re not going to be able to do it all but you have to know which balls will bounce back when you drop them, because you will drop them. The health ball cannot be dropped. It appears to be quite rubbery, stretching in and out like your body when you’re dieting. Appearing quite forgiving and fooling you into thinking that what you do or don’t do with it won’t hurt. But this ball will quickly turn into diabetes, or high blood pressure, or obesity, or a life threatening disease. Don’t drop this ball.
