Wow, I can’t believe it is already 11 months since Elijah was born and I’m not at my weight-loss goal yet. It’s very interesting. I can fit into some of my clothes and to those that look at me dressed, they are already congratulating me on getting my “Body After Baby” back. But the truth of the matter is, I’m at 129lbs, which is great, but my body fat is still right below a whopping 30%! That’s extremely high. And it shows, because my arms are still soft and flabby and I can still see the cellulite in my thighs. Yes, I fell off the wagon. Losing weight without a consistent loss in body fat does not give you the results you’re really looking for. How did that happen? Primarily a lack of consistent exercise, and ok, I can stand to improve my diet. It’s easy to fall off track one day and then the next, and then before you know it you realize a week has gone by and you only exercised once. 26 days to go before Elijah is 1 year old. Today I recommit to my goals and resume my journey.
